History & Staff

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity.

Our History

In 1977, John Passalacqua, the current President of Passalacqua Funeral Chapel joined the family firm.

Originally established by his grandfather, Frank Passalacqua in the 1930s, the business continues to be firmly rooted in tradition, yet flexible and yielding to the developments in funeral service, and the ebb and flow of popular trends.

No matter the year, it has always been our goal to serve our community to the best of our ability – to care for those who come to us as if they were members of our own family.

You can be truly comfortable calling upon Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, because you’ll be connecting with neighbors and friends – who recognize the deep pain of loss through professional training tempered by personal experience.

We’ll listen closely to your stories, provide information when we see the need, and help you to arrive at decisions you can be pleased with for years to come.

Vince Miller

Vince Miller, Funeral Counselor

Working in the funeral industry is very rewarding. Living the experience and having the ability to enter a families life during such an unfortunate time, and being able to bring them some comfort and ease at a time when things are confusing and frightening, is my goal, and my passion. I am tirelessly meticulous about making sure every family receives everything they possibly need for solace, an closure.

Educational background: I graduated from Vallejo High School in 1983. I have currently obtained an operator certification from the Association of California Cremationists, and an attendance certification for Law Review and arrangement counselor.

Since 1987 I have been, and currently still employed by the city of Vallejo Maintenance Division. The first five years in landscape maintenance. The next fifteen running one of two tree mainenance drews, and the last five being one of a two person managing team in charge of the water maintenance divisions supply warehouse.

I am married to my beautiful wife Michelle of 20 years. I have two lovely daughters Kimberley Ann 27, and Kelley Michelle 19. My wife is a surgery scheduler at Vacaville Kaiser and has been with kaiser Permanente for the past 17 years. Last but far from least there is "Missy" our three year old rat terrier that the doggie stork so kindly left on our doorstep July 2009.
