Diane L. Kelly

Diane was born and raised from a very young age in Linden, San Joaquin County, California, by her mother Mary J. Podesta Cheek and later her adopted father Robert W. Kelly. She attended grade school at Delphi and graduated from Linden High School where she was a cheerleader for the Lynden Lions. As a young woman she became a flight attendant with Trans International Air Lines and traveled the world over. Shortly after leaving the airlines she moved to Fairfield, California where she met her husband John E. “Jack” Kelly. Diane became a real estate broker and she and her husband operated successful offices in Solano County for over 30 years. Their office The Kelly Company /Leisure Town Properties in Vacaville, under new ownership is still in operation after 40 years. Diane was an avid golfer with 5 hole-in-ones and 2 club championships. She and her husband have been members of Green Valley Country Club for over 20 years. Diane is survived by her husband, Jack; children, Michael (Victoria)Kelly, Michele (Jack) Mackall, and James Kelly; grandchildren, Stephanie (Greg) Day, Christine Kelly, Renee Kelly, Rochelle Kelly, James Kelly, Cassandra Kelly, Sean Daly and John “Eddie” Kelly; great grandchild, Holden Day; aunt, Lena Podesta; niece, Toni Burgin; nephew, Greg Burgin; grandniece, Madison Burgin; cousins, Annette (Doug)Vaccarrezza, Lorettta (Bob) Hampton, Robert Bozzini, Robert Leonardini, Steven Galvan, Meghan Galvan, Sarah Hampton, Erick Hampton and Joey Bozzini. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Guiseppe and LuigiaPodesta; parents, Robert and Mary Kelly; sister Mary Heim; uncles, John and Anthony Podesta; aunts, Rosie Bozzini and Ida Leonardini; and grandchildren, Danielle Kelly and Michael Daly. Visitation for family and friends will be held 4-8 p.m. Sunday, October 4th at Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, 901 West 2nd Street, Benicia, CA. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 a.m. Monday, October 5th at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church, 475 East I Street, Benicia, CA Monday.
