James M. Ducharme

James M. Ducharme, 71, passed away Saturday in a local hospital. He was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota and has lived in San Ramon for more than 30 years. Jim was a veteran of the Vietnam War and the U.S. Army from 1967-1969. Jim worked as a District Manager for Pitney Bowes for 30 years before retiring in 2004. He loved working in his yard, playing golf and was an avid Bay Area sports fan. He especially enjoyed spending time at his 2nd home in Seattle, WA. He is survived by Susan, his wife of 49 years; son Michael (Krista) Ducharme; brother David Ducharme; sister Fayette Radoll; his grandson Branden Ducharme and his step grandchildren Jeremy (Elise) & Heather Walsh, his 6 nieces and nephews, and his dog Maddie . Private Burial will Military Honors will be held at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery in Dixon. Family prefers donations to reachingforthestars.org/cerebral-palsy. Arrangements are under the direction of Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, Benicia.
