Jayne Marie Passalacqua Galbreth

Jayne Marie (Passalacqua) Galbreth, passed away peacefully, Thursday May 3, at the age of 96. She was born in Vallejo to Leo and Ursula Passalacqua. Jayne was raised in Benicia, went to St. Vincent Elementary and St. Vincent High School, graduating class of 1939. She was a life long parishioner of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church. Jayne worked as a receptionist for Doctors Lammel and Vincent for many years. Later she enjoyed exploring her creative side as a designer for Art Floral in Vallejo and Benicia Floral. During her retirement years, she enjoyed traveling with family and friends but most importantly being ‘Nanny’ to her grandchildren. Jayne is survived by her sons, Bill Cadloni, Bob (Carolyn) Cadloni; daughter, Sally (Craig) May; grandchildren Stephanie (Jim) Gillis, Christopher Cadloni, Lindsey (Brandon) Long, Tara (Mike) Bergmann, Haley (Jeremy) Warren; great grandchildren Joshua Gillis, Chase and Morgan Long, Olivia and Hanna Warren. She is also survived by her nephew, Drew (Chris) Coleman and niece, Kelly Donahue. Jayne was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 49 years, James B. Galbreth, son James B. Galbreth II, and her beloved sister Elise P. Coleman. A memorial service will be held at 11am, Thursday, May 31, at the Passalacqua Funeral Chapel, 901 West 2nd St. Benicia. At her request, burial will be private at St. Dominic’s Cemetery. Family prefers donations be sent to St. Dominic’s Cemetery, St. Patrick-St. Vincent High School, or The Dominican Sisters of San Rafael.
