Josephine "Jodie" Bogren
April 15, 1923 - August 13, 2013
Jodie was born in David City Neb. to Achiel Pieters & Elizabeth Braechevelt. She is survived by her brother Art Pieters (Pat) of Washington and Nephew, Ret. Bishop Kenneth Steiner of Portland as well as 32 additional loving nieces and nephews. She spent her working life in the retail industry and in retirement lived at Calaroga Terrace before moving to California to be with family. Although she had no children of her own she loved her extended family dearly and was considered by many to be a favorite Aunt. She was a masterful shopper and her organizational skills were legendary. Jodie loved walking and could often be seen getting her exercise at Lloyd Center. She was preceded in death by her husbands, George M. Cole and Frank E. Bogren. Her Brothers; Albert Pieters, Emil Pieters, Theophiles Pieters Sisters; Laura Sand, Florine Steiner, Jean Seybold, & Mary Lou Smith. Family prefers donations be made to Hospice of the East Bay
