Patricia A. "Patsy" Farley
November 29, 1943 - March 18, 2014
Patricia Farley passed away at her home in Benicia following a brief battle with cancer. She was born in Stockton and spent her youth in Taft before moving to Benicia in 1969. Patsy worked as a proofreader and tax processor for PricewaterhouseCoopers for over 18 years before retiring in 2008. Prior to that, she held several positions in the publications field. She also worked as an Instructional Aid for the Benicia Unified School District at both Benicia High School and Robert Semple Elementary School. She was a member of the Benicia Y-Wives, the American Association of University Women and will be fondly remembered for her love of shopping and her extensive collection of penguin figurines. Patsy is survived by her children Michelle (Mark) Hoffman and Corey (Robin) Farley; her parents Weldon & Mary Lou Jones and her grandchildren Ashton & Caroline Hoffman and Connor & Colin Farley and her longtime companion John Schuman. She was preceded in death by her brother Craig Jones in December 2012. Memorial services will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29th at Passalacqua Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will be private in Westside Cemetery District in Taft, CA.
