Salvatore J. Pizzimenti, 64, of Benicia passed away Thanksgiving Day. He was born and lived. The majority of his life in Pittsburg, CA before moving to Benicia 6 years ago. He was a manager for Albertson's Grocery Stores for over 23 years and a member of Retail Clerks Union. Sal is survived by his wife Elizabeth; sons Mike (Christie) & Christopher Pitta; sister Nadine Pizzimenti; and his grandchildren Nicolas and Michael Pitta & Anthony Doria. A Memorial Mass will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 16th at St. Peter Martyr Church, 740 Black Diamond Street, Pittsburg. Burial will be private.
