Dale Gregory Robbins, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on March 12, 2024, at the age of 64 in Benicia, California. Born on April 20, 1959, in Vallejo, CA, Dale lived a life filled with joy, adventure, and compassion. His approach to life was guided by his heart, and he valued love above all else. Dale's passion for life was evident in his diverse range of interests and hobbies. Whether playing tennis, biking, golfing, whaleboat rowing, or hitting a home run on the baseball field, Dale found joy in staying active. In quieter moments, he also enjoyed playing his clarinet, tinkering around the house, working on his T-bird car, caring for his pets, and perfecting the art of breadmaking. As an engineer at Kaiser Permanente Vallejo, Dale poured his skills and passion into his work, leaving a lasting impact on all he encountered. Alongside these pursuits, Dale's adventurous spirit led him to explore the world with the love of his life, Annabelle, fostering deep connections and creating cherished memories. His dedication to spreading happiness knew no bounds, matched only by his profound affection for his friends and family. Whether engaging in sports or simply sharing laughter, music, stories, and his secret-ingredient lemon drops, Dale embraced the joy of being surrounded by loved ones. Family held a special place in his heart, particularly his wife, daughters, stepsons, nieces, and nephews, whom he deeply loved. It brings comfort to know that Dale is now reunited with his parents, Don and Janet Robbins, his sisters Sharon Bensing and Carol Miller, and stepson Raphel Cruz. Survived by his loving wife Annabelle Marie, daughters Amber Robbins (Fitzgerald Lee) and Bethany Barr (Paul Barr), stepsons Francisco Cruz (Mandy Cruz, Adeline Cruz, Sia Cruz) and Dominic Cruz (Maya Cruz), and sister-in-law Marianne Bunce (Anthony Clyma, Heather Clyma), Dale will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Dale's celebration of life, on his birthday, will be held on Saturday, April 20th, at Mare Island Art Studios, 110 Pintado St., Vallejo, CA 94592. Between 2-3pm, we invite you to join us in honoring Dale’s memory by crafting personal messages reflecting the love and joy he brought into our lives. These messages will be placed in biodegradable boats and rowed out as offerings into the water at 3pm. The ceremony will commence at 4pm.
