Edna E. Watson

Edna Elizabeth Watson was born June 16, 1928 to Joesph Goodie and Lydia St Julian in Houston, Texas. She had an older sister Marie Theresa and younger brother John Joesph Goodie They moved to San Francisco in 1945 and she attended George Washington High graduated at the age of sixteen. She also attended San Frandsco State and SF City College for two years. She married John Clayton Hebert Sr. November 9, 1947 gave birth to a baby girl November 14, 1948 she named her Phyllis Marie three years later she gave birth to a baby boy John Clayton Hebert Jr. September 13, 1951. Edna worked for over fourty years in Accounting, Billing, Payroll and Medical Office Management. She became Mrs. Otis D. Watson in 1966 he was her true love for thirty one years. God took him home December 25, 1997. Her Son J.C. Jr. became ill with Multiple Sclerosis in 1986 devastating news. Edna was always the best mother ever, she made sure John was well taken care of, during his thirty yr. battle with.MS until God took him home December 28, 2016. Edna was her families "ANGEL" she gave her love, helping those in financial need, someone to talk to about family issues & problems. Always concerned and very supportive. She loved Bowling, playing Slots at the casino, Bingo, Cards and Keno. Playing her Piano, Singing, Cooking, Interior Design, TV shows, Old Westerns, NCIS, Walker, Cooking Network, & Court TV, Entertaining family and friends with fabulous dinner parties. Loved to laugh, be positive and happy, enjoyed sharing her life stories and wisdom. She was a great business woman. · Edna was the most Loving, Kind, Caring, Loyal, Thoughtful, and the most Compassionate Mother, Sister, Wife, Aunt, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Friend and Woman on this earth. Heaven truly has an "ANGEL OF ALL ANGELS. She said "I love my beautiful family with all my heart, they mean the world to me. I will miss them, I will be watching over them always" Edna leaves to morn: Her daughter, Phyllis Marie Johnson, Grandchildren: Yolanda Traylor, Bennie Lee Owens Jr. John Joesph Hebert, Great Grandchildren: Brittany N. Wallace, Brandy D. Ownes, Sierra Owens, and Chase Bentley Owens, Nephew: Lawrence Simms. Her Sister: Marie Southern and her Nieces and Nephews: Clifortine Page, Nathaniel Southern, Christopher Southern, Anthony Southern and Alicia Green, Friends, othe, Relatives and her loving Second Family.
